1 Introduction

PPP Promotion Committee (hereafter referred to as "the Committeeh) regards privacy, and protection of personal information (hereafter referred to as "Personal informationh) of the Subjects of user information held by the Committee (hereafter referred to as "Subjectsh) as a matter of the highest importance.

2 Definition of Personal Information

"Personal information"refers to a datum or data that can identify a particular person:Name, age, phone number, E-mail address, mailing address, employment information, etc.

3 Use of Personal Information

Use of Personal information by the Committee is limited to the following purposes:Correspondence, provision of information requested by the Subject, delivery of course materials, and provision of information related to the committee such as seminar information.The Committee will not use Personal information other than for the above-mentioned purposes without the Subjectsf approval, except in the following cases:

  1. When it is approved under law.
  2. When human life, health, or property is in need of protection, but it is difficult to get approval from the Subjects.
  3. When development of public health or promotion of childrenfs safety or health is in need of protection, but it is difficult to get the approval from the Subjects.
  4. When an institution such as a government body or local government body, or contractor that is legally commissioned to perform administrative work is in need of cooperation, but eliciting approval from the Subjects would be impractically burdensome.

4 Personal Information non-disclosure to third parties

The Committee will not disclose Personal information to a third party, except LEC related companies without the Subjectsf approval, except in the following cases:

  1. When it is approved under law
  2. When human life, health, or property is in need of protection, but it is difficult to get approval from the Subjects.
  3. When development of public health, or promotion of childrenfs safety and health is in need of cooperation, but it is difficult to get approval from the Subjects.
  4. When an institution such as a government body or local government body, or contractor that is legally commissioned to perform administrative work is in need of cooperation, but eliciting approval from the Subjects would be impractically burdensome.

5 Definition of the Third Party

As mentioned in Section 4, the Committee will not disclose Personal information to third parties; however, a party will not be considered a Third party under the following circumstances.(The Committee will be responsible for adequate instruction and supervising of a contractor when the contractor is permitted by the Committee to use Personal information in part or in full.)

  1. When a party is permitted to use Personal information in part or in full for the purposes stated above.
  2. When Personal information is transferred to another institution through operational body changes such as mergers and acquisitions.
  3. When Personal information is released for use by a particular party, and the items of Personal information, the extent of the use by the Subjects, the purpose of, and the name of the person or institution who is in charge of the management, is identified and publicized, with either the approval of the Subjects for the use of their Personal information or if it would be obvious to the Subjects that the information is being used.

6 About "SSL (Secure Socket Layer)"

The website of the Committee uses "SSLh to protect the Personal information of Subjects. By using SSL, the standardized security service for Internet, personal information such as name, address, and telephone number will be automatically encrypted.

The Committee will secure the management of Personal information of the Subjects, to avoid unauthorized release, damage, loss and use of the Personal information for a use other than that stated.

7 About "Cookiesh

The website of the Committee uses "Cookiesh.This is to offer services for the Subjects conveniently, and not to offend the privacy of the Subjects.When "Cookiesh are disabled in the Subjectsf browser settings, parts of Internet services may be unavailable.

8 About Login Records of the Subjects

The website of the Committee will track the Subjectsf information through login records. Login records include access dates, domains, IP addresses, and browser types, but any information that can identify the particular person will not be included.Login records will be used only for the Committee or LEC group for analysis of website visits and usage, and will not be used for other purposes.

9 About Adjustment of Personal Information

When a Subjects wishes to change their Personal Information for disclosure, correction, or deletion, (hereafter referred to as "Adjustmenth), it may be done through the Adjustment procedure, either by E-mail, telephone, or at the reception desk of any of our schools.(To make an inquiry, please contact the address below).The Adjustment procedure will be explained on request, and personal ID must be presented at the time of Adjustment.

11 Related Laws and Other Regulations

The Committee is in full compliance with other related laws and regulations on the use of user-provided Personal information.The policy stated here will be revised in accordance with any changes in related laws and regulations in Japan. The policy stated here will be applied from the day it is published on the website of the Committee.
