Tokyo Legal Mind (LEC) is Japan’s premier source for job qualification training and preparatory classes for national examinations. Griff Co. Ltd. is based in Gunma Prefecture and maintains two schools in the Tone-Numata area.
Together, LEC and Griff Co. Ltd. have formed a business partnership to jointly nurture specialists in the local area to contribute to regional revitalization.
To commemorate this partnership, both firms will hold a special joint lecture about the benefits of such qualifications.
From the first Monday of October 2007, it is possible to take selected LEC web courses at Griff Co. Ltd., and it is also possible to sign up for various other valuable correspondence courses as well.
* What is a web course? : These correspondence courses will take place in special web-equipped booths on site.

LEC operates an expansive network of franchise schools nationwide, from Sapporo to Okinawa, providing various qualifications and national examination courses. Meanwhile, in Gunma prefecture, LEC also provides correspondence courses by web, video, cassette and DVD.
Similarly, Griff Co. Ltd. has been developing preparatory schools for elementary to high school students, as well as English conversation schools for infants to adults, under the motto of “community-based education”.
This partnership aims to revitalize and develop the local area by synergizing the unique qualities possessed by each party. By offering a multitude of educational programmes, LEC and Griff Co. Ltd. hope to provide educational activities based on local needs to produce more specialists.

Located in Tone-Numata area, Griff Co. Ltd. has established two English conversation schools and two preparatory schools, providing a cohesive education system from primary through to high school for all age levels. Since being established in 1980, over ten thousand students from elementary school through to adults have studied with Griff.
Establishing a network between its head office and its bases, Griff Co. Ltd. set up English conversation schools aimed not only at pre-high school students but also at students from infants to adults, with great numbers of students passing through its doors as an all-round education institution.
For Primary and Junior High courses, classes are composed as students desire for over first-grade level. For High school classes, in collaboration with ‘Toshin Satellite Prep School’, Griff Co. Ltd. employs an on-screen image learning system. And for their English conversation classes, native English-speakers provide practical and detailed instruction in classes for infants up to adults.
