LEC University Open Seminar [ PDF ]
Tokyo Legal Mind University (LEC University – specialists in career education) launches its ‘Dragon Sakura Style Of Effective English Study’ Open Seminar. This seminar is open to all English learners, especially high school students.
The popular manga Dragon Sakura , televised in 2005 by TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System, Inc.) is now regarded as a bible for students preparing for examinations. Innovative educator Hironobu Takeoka will introduce his revolutionary English study methods through this open seminar. His educational method is described as ‘thinking through self-imaging’.
Not only secondary school students, but their parents – along with high school teachers, cram school teachers and anyone else interested in English training – simply must attend this open seminar!

Mr. Hironobu TakeokaBorn in 1961. Studied at Kyoto University’s Engineering Department after graduating from Rakunan High School. Began teaching English at a cram school while studying at the university. Admitted to the Department of Literature after graduating from the Department of Engineering, and began embarking on English Education. Promotes an education method called ‘thinking through self-imaging’ as an alternative to traditional rote learning. Encourages ‘face-to-face’ classes based on strong belief in his method. His educational style has been a focus of attention. His class was recently televised. Has Published many books. Is currently the acting President of the Takeoka Cram School. Lecturers at major preparation schools and high schools. |
