Tokyo Legal Mind K.K. (LEC), your human-resource development company and educational institution for professional licensing and certification, has started its International Exchange Program - a new support system for Japanese students studying abroad.

In addition to our current English language affiliate programs at Northwest Missouri State University (U.S.A.) and Victoria University (Canada), LEC’s International Exchange Programs is currently expanding our list of affiliate institutions for the coming years.

About LEC’s International Exchange Program

Types of Programs

Our services are extended to various types of programs, study periods, and destination countries, depending on the needs of the students.The period of study may vary from long-term to short-term, including a program carried out during Japanese students’ summer vacation.Destination countries include the UK, the US and Canada for English language training programs, and Germany, South Korea, and many other countries for non-English language training programs.Also, short-term business training is available for students who seek training in areas beyond foreign language training.

Types of Services

I Our professional staff, with their expertise in foreign matters and languages, have developed these services for the satisfaction of the students. Guidance will be provided mainly through counseling, and the students will be advised and given practical advice on their overseas study goals - such as advice on what kind of program at which university and which country will be the best match for them.

For LEC University students

2 credits will be granted

Students of LEC University will be granted 2 credits (as Liberal Arts credits), after finishing the programs at one of our affiliated institutions: Northwest Missouri State University (U.S.A.) and Victoria University (Canada). (Subject to the standard review process by LEC University)

Discounts on Counseling Services

Students of LEC University will receive a discount on counseling services. The discounted rate will be JPY25,000 instead of JPY35,000. (LEC’s counseling service will include the overall range of services, such as general help with deciding on schools, to support service in application procedures, etc.)
