LEC appeal opens up social security tasks for trial privatization

The Social Insurance Agency has announced that their privatization scheme will only extend to the collection of fees at rent collection windows. The Social Insurance Agency are said to be using a "Trial Privatization" approach, but it seems to be an attempt to limit privatization. At this stage, the Social Insurance Agency is trying to limit areas opened to privatization. If the tasks are opened up by half measures, the efficiency of whole projects will be seriously impaired.

LEC is against the agency's proposal; it insists that this piecemeal privatization is unacceptable, and that when the Social Insurance Agency opens services to privatization it should offer privatization of complete systems.
