LEC's proposals for regulatory reforms, School Management Council for Career Education Special Career Educational Zone, etc.

LEC: Tokyo Legal Mind. K.K., as a human-resource development company and an educational institution for professional licensing and certificates, has submitted 11 proposals during the "Special Proposal Period" for a "Special Zone for Regulatory Reforms and Private Sector-Oriented Activities".

A brief summary of our proposals is as follows:

1. Education and Child Care

(No.1) Creation of a Career Education Zone by the School Management Council
(No.2) Easing of regulations on for-profit University zone
(No.3) Realization of an equal footing between for-profit universities and government-backed universities (Proposal for nationwide relaxation of regulations)
(No.4) Participation of for-profit universities in higher vocational school education
(No.5) Relaxation of Japanese language school standards in a designated zone
(No.6) General improvement in promoting privately operated after-school care operations for children (Proposal for nationwide relaxation of regulations)

2. Employment

(No.1) Creation of national license-holding professionals' ["Shigyou"] personnel service special zone
(No.2) Abolition of regulations for job-placement commissions from job seekers (Proposal for nationwide relaxation of regulations)

3. Medical

(No.1) Creation of special medical regulation reform zone

4. Tourism

(No.1) Revitalization of local tourist industries through introduction of GPS and city guide development system

5. Other

(No.1) Regulation of standard business accounting practices in specified management organizations (Proposal for nationwide relaxation of regulations)
