Our Mission

Free Job Placement Service Projects

Free Job Placement Service Projects are employment support services managed by LEC with Japanese local public agencies. Japan's local public agencies' Free Job Placement Service Projects started in 2004 as an effect of an Employment Security Law revision (enacted March 1, 2004). The revision enabled local public agencies to operate free job-placement services and collect information for job seekers about employment conditions. Local public agencies are now able to take responsibility for their own programs and so may engage private-sector professional skills. Users can now register for local public agencies' free employment referral system in order to receive various employment support services.
